Measure your success

There are a couple of great ways to track progress in your healthy routine.

  1. Keep a workout journal: If you’re doing strength training, write down how much weight you’re lifting for various exercises and how many reps. Doing cardio, like running or biking? Track the distance you’ve covered and how long it took. From workout session to workout session, hopefully you’ll be able to look at your journal and see steady progress!
  2. Invest in a pedometer or fitness tracker: There are all kinds of devices that measure how many steps you take per day, track your heart rate, sleeping patterns, etc. This information is incredibly useful for taking your workout routine to the next level so that you can look at hard data tracking how your body is reacting to strenuous exercise.
