June 14, 2010- Representin’ MN at the PHATS TradeShow
Happy Monday Everyone!
I am at the Professional Hockey Athletic Trainers Society Tradeshow this week in sunny, hot Fort Lauderdale. (What a nice change from wet n’ rainy MN!) This is BiProUSA’s first time exhibiting at this show. The show brings together professional hockey trainers from the NHL and AHL as well as the CHL. Since our NSF Sport certification in January, we have had success with MLB so we are reaching out to the hockey leagues as well. These tradeshows give us an opportunity to educate the trainers on BiPro. Here I am with my co-worker, Antoinette, rockin’ it out at the booth. Don’t we look like the Vanna’s of whey protein?!
We brought along Gluten-Free Peanut Butter Cookies to show how easily BiPro can be added to cookie batter. Gluten-free foods are being promoted lately in nutrition news so we hopped on the bandwagon as well. Check out the cute lil’ sample cookies! What’s in ‘em?
And finally the main messaging of BiPro: fat free, carb free, sugar free, lactose free, unflavored, all natural, whey protein.
So day #1 was successful! I chatted with the MN Wild’s assistant trainer (“whey” to represent Minnesotahhhhhhhhhhh!!!), and he was interested in BiPro for his daughter, who needs to eat a gluten-free diet. SCOREEEEE!!!
